OUR TRAINERS

All of our courses and sessions are delivered by experienced practising barristers with years of experience in civil litigation and courtroom advocacy.

Our lead trainer is Nathan Goldstein a highly experienced barrister, who in a legal career at the Bar spanning over a quarter century has for the past 15 years assisted and represented hundreds of direct access clients to litigate their own cases in the county court, high court, magistrates court, crown court and various tribunals throughout England and Wales. Nathan has a wealth of experience gained in his diverse career in areas such as consumer and contract disputes, property and landlord & tenant, insolvency and company law, trusts and inheritance, regulatory and licensing, administrative law and criminal law cases. Nathan is ranked as a leading chancery barrister in the 2025 Legal 500 directory and has been since 2015.

Nathan has also considerable experience in delivering training in advocacy to pupil barristers, bar students, lawyers and school mock trial students over the past 30 years.

He is particularly sensitive to the unique needs of the self representing litigant and is well placed to teach litigants in person how to run their own cases. He has created and designed the courses we offer and it is his particular mission in these courses to focus on a “real world” practical understanding of what to look at and what to look out for. He is perhaps better placed than most to offer this unique and valuable insight into the world of civil litigation and courtroom advocacy.
